President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Friday, January 12, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency on Thursday, the national address is scheduled to air at 7:00 a.m. on the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.
The statement, signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, urged all television and radio stations across the country to hook onto the NTA and Radio Nigeria network to relay the broadcast live.
The Democracy Day address is expected to highlight the nation’s democratic journey, achievements, and the administration’s vision for strengthening democratic governance and national development.
Democracy Day is observed annually to celebrate the country’s return to democratic rule and honour the sacrifices of individuals who contributed to the nation’s democratic evolution.
