President Bola Tinubu and his entourage arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, on Monday evening for the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
He was greeted warmly by Roland Lamola, South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
During the session, Tinubu is set to hold talks with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on various key issues such as political consultations, consular and migration matters, banking and finance, defence and security, manufacturing, social sector development, mines and energy, as well as opportunities in trade and investment.
The Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission, established in 1999, seeks to strengthen diplomatic relations, boost economic cooperation, and reinforce the long-standing friendship between both countries.
