Three months after taking office, Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has nominated 12 individuals for commissioner positions, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
The governor announced on Thursday through his spokesperson, Ebenezer Adeniyan that he would be submitting the names of the commissioner-designates to the state’s House of Assembly for screening, clearance, and confirmation.
Among the nominees for commissioners is a former Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, Professor Igbekele Ajibefun and 11 others.
The other commissioner nominees are as follows:
1. Engr Aycrinde Abiola Olawoye
2. Hon. Ayodele Akande
3. Engr Alabi Johnson
4. Alhaji Amidu Takuro
5. Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu
6. Mr. Idowu Ajanaku
7. Dr Oluwaseun Abosede Osamaye
8. Dr Tob Loko
9. Mr. Olaolu Akindolire
10. Hon. Sunday Olajide
11. Mr. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry
Once the required legislative procedures are complete, the nominated and appointed individuals will be sworn into office on a date that will be announced by the state government.
