Former governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has lambasted President Bola Tinubu for distancing his administration from the former President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
Tambuwal, is also the current Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial Zone in the Senate.
The former governor expressed his concerns that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been more focused on gaining power rather than addressing the country’s challenges.
In his statement: “The Tinubu administration, which has not succeeded in securing Nigerians or promoting development, is now trying to dissociate itself from Buhari’s failures.
“Tinubu, having benefited from the APC under Buhari, should not allow his aides to criticize the former president’s administration”.
Tambuwal urged President Tinubu to concentrate on governance with a serious and focused approach, avoiding distractions that could undermine his plans for national security and development.
