SPORTS: Ndidi, Leicester City relegated from Premier League
Leicester City, the club of Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, has been relegated from the Premier League for the fifth time.
Leicester faces relegation after losing 1-0 to Liverpool, the soon-to-be champions, at home, which seals their return to the English Championship’s second tier.
They have 18 points out of a possible 33 with five matches remaining in the season. Ndidi played until late in the game when he was substituted.
Southampton, who have Super Eagles stars Paul Onuachu and Joe Aribo on their roster, became the first club to be relegated from the Premier League this season.
