A fatal accident on the Akure–Owo Expressway has claimed the lives of seven people after a tipper truck rammed into a commercial vehicle conveying traders to the Ogbese Market.
The ghastly incident, which occurred at Bolorunduro, plunged the busy highway into chaos, leaving several others seriously injured and sending shockwaves through the community.
Emergency responders, including operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), swiftly arrived at the scene to manage traffic, rescue victims, and commence investigations into the cause of the crash.
