Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, has appointed 100 non-statutory Special Advisers.
Ibrahim, made this known in a statement released and signed by his Chief of Staff, Mr Bola Olagbegi on Tuesday in Igbotako, Ondo State.
The appointees were picked across the six Local Government Areas (LGAs) of his constituency which is made up of Okitipupa, Ilaje, Odigbo, Irele, Ese-Odo and Ile Oluji/Oke-Igbo.
According to him, these Legislative Aides and Special Advisers will play instrumental roles in aiding him to deliver on his electioneering commitments. Each appointee will take home N50k monthly and they will be paid 6 months arrears.
Olagbegi, stressed that many of these individuals have previously collaborated with Senator Ibrahim, by contributing their skills and expertise in different capacities.
The beneficiaries to collect their bank drafts tomorrow, Wednesday 20th September, 2023 at University of Fortune, Igbotako.
Also, Ibrahim will flag off the rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in Okitipupa – Igbotako 25.9km general maintenance; Igbotako roundabout- Big Soul Hotel; Asphalt overlay and maintenance of 500Meters from Igbotako roundabout- Chief Paul Adeyekun house.
Others to flag off tomorrow are: Road construction and asphalt overlay at Odogun 36Meters and width of 7.5Meters; Inspection of installation of 410 solar lights for Ilutitun, Igbotako, Iju Oke,Iju – Odo, Oloto, Igodan- Lisa, Okitipupa, Erekiti – Luwoye, Araromi Obu , Abusoro and Agbetu.
