The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Blessing Agabe Karbolo, has been called to the Nigerian Bar, officially qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Agabe, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), was among the new set of legal practitioners inducted during the Call to Bar ceremony held on Tuesday at the Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja.
Speaking shortly after the ceremony, the police spokesperson expressed gratitude to God for the achievement, describing the milestone as a humbling experience.
“What can I say? I’m overwhelmed,” she said.
Quoting the Bible, specifically Romans 9:16, Agabe attributed her success to divine grace, saying, “It is not of him who willeth nor of him who runneth, but of God who showeth mercy.”
Her call to the Bar marks another significant milestone in her professional career, adding legal practice to her credentials as a senior police officer and public relations officer of the Rivers State Police Command.
