Oyebanji appoints new acting chief judge

Mr Biodun Oyebanji, Governor of Ekiti State, has appointed Hon. Justice Lekan Adekanye Ogunmoye as the state’s Acting Chief Judge, effective November 5, 2024, following the passing of former Chief Judge Hon Justice John Oyewole Adeyeye on November 4, 2024, in accordance with Section 271 (4) of the 1999 Constitution, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.

Ogunmoye, born on November 6, 1963, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987, an appointed a judge on April 1, 2010.

Governor Oyebanji wishes the new Acting Chief Judge a successful tenure.
