The Ondo state police command has paraded a 21-year- old student who allegedly stabbed a 300 level student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Adekunle Adebisi Ifeoluwa to death.
The Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Peter Oladipo, said Tuesday that through investigation, the police was able to track one Olubodun Sanni, male, a 21-year- old final year student of the same university to have confessed to the crime.
The police authority said the 20-year- old 300 level students was murdered in her room. She was stabbed in the chest.
The police authority noted that the phone of the deceased was traced to Olubodun who happens to be a neighbour to the late 300 level student and he confessed to have committed the murder of the late colleague.
Police said the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation on the matter is concluded.
