Hon. Olujimi Adekanle Lijoka, popularly known as JAF, has formally announced his intention to contest the House of Representatives seat for the Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement made available to the public, Hon. Lijoka described his decision as a “call to serve,” driven not by personal ambition but by a deep commitment to the development, peace, and prosperity of the constituency. He emphasized that his aspiration is rooted in a desire to restore confidence in leadership and ensure that the voices of the people are adequately represented at the national level.

According to him, the journey toward 2027 represents an opportunity for collective progress, anchored on trust, accountability, and shared purpose. He noted that effective representation must translate into tangible benefits for constituents, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, youth empowerment, education, and inclusive governance.

“Our constituency deserves more than symbolic representation,” he stated. “It deserves purposeful leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people and works tirelessly to secure opportunities for all.”

Hon. Lijoka further assured constituents of his readiness to shoulder the responsibilities of office with sincerity, courage, and integrity, adding that the task of rebuilding and advancing the constituency cannot be achieved by one individual alone, but through collective effort and unity of purpose.

He concluded by calling on stakeholders, party members, and residents of Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency to join him on what he described as a shared journey toward reclaiming the promise and potential of the land.

The declaration marks the beginning of Hon. Adekanle’s engagement ahead of the 2027 elections, as political activities gradually gather momentum across the constituency and Ondo State at large.
