~Salutes judiciary
Popular political commentator Olujimi Adekanle, has joined the chorus of congratulations pouring in for Governor Aiyedatiwa, following the Supreme Court’s judgment affirming his victory in the November 16th, 2024, Ondo governorship election.
Adekanle’s congratulatory message stressed the divine nature of the victory, which he saw as a call to further serve the people of the state, and praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continued provision of quality services since taking office.
“The Supreme Court has reaffirmed its commitment to the people by upholding the election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was overwhelmingly elected by the residents and indigenes of Ondo State under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“This judgment is a victory for democracy and the people of Ondo State. I congratulate Governor Aiyedatiwa on his well-deserved victory and commend his dedication to the development of Ondo State.”
“I commend the judiciary for its courageous stance in upholding justice and the will of the people through its judgment.”
Adekanle urged the governor to be magnanimous in victory by carrying everybody along, irrespective of political party, religious, or ethnic inclination.
He described the Supreme Court judgement as the end of the election process that everyone must accept.
He prayed for Governor Aiyedatiwa to receive divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as he embarked on the immense task of governing the state.
