Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was a unifier, peace maker – Abbas

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has expressed sadness over the demise of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim.

The respected monarch, reportedly passed away in the early hours of Sunday.

The House of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas sympathised with Ebira people, kogi central and the entire people of kogi state over the demised of the Ohinoyi, saying the life of the late Alhaji Ibrahim was a great example for Nigerians to follow.

The speaker described the death as a huge loss to the country, not just Ebiraland and Kogi state.

The House Speaker said the late monarch was a unifier, peace maker and a bridge-builder.

He said he played a significant role in ensuring unity among Nigerians, beyond Kogi state.

Abass recalled how the Ohinoyi was a businessman and lived in different parts of the country before answering the clarion call to rule over the Ebira people.
