The Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence three new undergraduate programmes and postgraduate degrees in two departments, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
The development marks another milestone in the institution’s steady academic expansion and commitment to providing quality higher education in science and technology.
According to the approval conveyed by the NUC, the university can now admit students into the newly accredited undergraduate programmes, while select departments have also been cleared to offer Master’s and Doctorate degrees.
The Vice-Chancellor of OAUSTECH, Professor Temi Ologunorisa, described the approval as a welcome development that would further enhance the university’s academic profile and research capacity. He noted that the expansion aligns with the institution’s strategic vision to produce highly skilled graduates capable of contributing to national development.
With this approval, OAUSTECH continues to strengthen its position as one of Nigeria’s fast-growing technology-driven universities.
