NDDC APPOINTMENTS: Canadian Investigate Journalist, Olujimi Adekanle Congratulates, Akinjo, Abena

A Canadian based investigate journalist, Prince Olujimi Adekanle, has congratulated the newly appointed members of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), from Ondo State, Hon. Kolade Akinjo and Hon. Abegunde Abena on their appointment.

Adekanle, a prince from Ode-Irele Community in Ondo State in a congratulatory message described the twosomes appointment as a well-deserved appointment considering their track records in the past years.

The newly appointed members are both Former House of Representative Members.

In a statement personally signed, Adekanle advised the NDDC newly appointed members to see the appointment as a call to service and urged them to leave a footprint of superlative service to humanity.

The statement partly reads: “I join numerous well-wishers to congratulate you both, on your well-deserved appointment as the member of the NDDC. I have known both of you several years ago and I know for a fact that you will both do well.

“Your discipline, knowledge, skills, and indeed your very essence, have garnered you both the appointment. Your achievements never cease to amaze me. This new appointment is remarkable: an honor and a testament to your worth.”

Adekanle, urged the newly appointed members to take development to the deep parts, especially the labyrinth of creeks and remote villages, where the people have over the years yearn to feel the touch of governance and reap the good fruits of the resources taken from their lands.

He called on the masses of Ondo State especially Ondo South region to rally support for the new board member from the area, to succeed.
