Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, has passed away, with news of his death reaching the National Assembly on Tuesday, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Late Hon. Onanuga is a second-term member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State, and a member of the All Progressives Congress.
She previously served as Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development in the 9th Assembly.
She was appointed Deputy Chief Whip at the inauguration of the 10th House of Representatives, a position she held until her death.
She was born on December 2, 1965, and was 59 years old at the time of her death.
