The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, will today, January 8, 2023 launch the first online portal for passport application in Abuja.
The minister revealed this during a demonstration session of the online portal on Friday with the Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service, Caroline Adepoju.
According to the minister, an online passport application platform has been instituted for both international and Nigerian applicants.
It will be recalled that the Honourable minister announced in December 2023 that the Federal Government was working with relevant agencies to ensure a full automation system of passport application in the country.
