Hajiya Nafisa Idris, has cleared medical expenses of 12 vulnerable patients undergoing surgeries at Medical Centre, Kalgo in the state.
Mrs Nafisa Idris, is the wife of Govenor Nasir Idris, the current Kebbi State Governor.
This was made known by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor’s Wife, Hajiya Binta Abdulhamid, in Birnin Kebbi.
According to her, the sponsorship was part of Hajiya Idris’ quest to render assistance to women, especially those suffering from various ailments in the state.
In her words:“To this end, Alhaji Mustapha Shallah, delivered the donation of N500,000 to the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Dr Nura Kangiwa.
”He said the donation was in fulfillment of the promise to sponsor the surgeries of the patients and prayed to God for the successful conduct of the surgeries,” the statement said.
Sadiya Mua’zu, one of the beneficiaries expressed happiness and gratitude to the wife of the governor.
She thanked the governor’s wife on behalf of other beneficiaries.
She prayed to God to reward her abundantly and give her courage and wisdom to continue to impact positively on the lives of women and children in the state.
