Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the political adviser to President Bola Tinubu, has stepped down from his position, having submitted his resignation about two weeks ago.
Baba-Ahmed cited personal reasons for his resignation, according to reports, but it remains unclear whether the president has accepted his decision.
He was appointed as a political adviser to the president in September 2023.
