Hoodlums attacked the family residence of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator representing Kogi Central, in Obeiba-Ihima area, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State on Tuesday, armed with cutlasses and firearms, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
According to security expert Zagazola Makama, hoodlums launched an attack in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to a report by Yakubu Ovanja, the chief security officer to Akpoti-Uduaghan, three armed men stormed the senator’s family home around 1 am.
The criminals allegedly vandalised the building and smashed the window panes of the house. Although no one was injured and no arrests were made, security personnel from the Okehi Division were swiftly deployed to the scene.
Police are also said to have commenced documentation and preliminary investigation on the matter.
