JUST IN: Liverpool striker, Diogo Jota, dies in car accident

Global football fans are mourning the tragic death of Portuguese international and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, who reportedly died in a car accident on the A-52 highway in Spain’s Zamora province.

Portuguese media sources report that Jota was traveling with his younger brother, André, also a professional footballer, when the accident occurred on the A-52 in Cernadilla, an area known for its winding roads and poor visibility.

Emergency services responded quickly to the crash, but unfortunately, Jota died from his injuries at the scene.
