The popular political activist, Olujimi Adekanle has congratulated Hon. Sola Olofin on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund(NSITF) by President Bola Tinubu.
The appointment was announced a few days ago by Bayo Onanuga, the Presidential spokesperson.
Adekanle in a statement personally signed, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment.
He described Honorable Sola Olofin as a respected politician, strategist and seasoned administrator who has had a distinguished career in the ICT.
“Hon. Sola Olofin is a seasoned ICT and management expert, boasting over 25 years of experience both in Nigeria and internationally.
“He has been instrumental in transforming Nigeria’s ICT sector through his exceptional leadership skills and passion for digital innovation.”.
Sola Olofin is a Fellow of the Charter Institute of Management Consultants, he has held various high-profile positions, including Board Chairman, Managing Director, and Executive Director in organizations such as Aquasilica Limited and Enrich System Limited. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director/CEO of SatCom Integrated Resources, a globally renowned ICT company.
Adekanle said he does not doubt that Hon. Sola Olofin would excel in the new assignment, given his pedigree as a seasoned ICT expert and experienced public servant, with a knack for excellent service delivery.
