Oyo State governor, Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Fatai Owoseni as Special Adviser on Security Matters.
The Chief of Staff to the governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, made the appointments known in a letter dated July 20, 2023.
Fatai is a former commissioner of police in Lagos state.
The governor also re-appointed a former chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Oyo State chapter, Comrade Bayo Titilola-Sodo, as Special Adviser on Labour matters.
Segun Adegoke was also re-appointed as Special Adviser on Homeland Security.
Adegoke is a retired Assistant Comptroller of Immigration
The governor also approved the appointment of the immediate past Commissioner for Trades and Commerce, Chief Bayo Lawal, as Senior Executive Assistant on General Duties.
Savannah News also confirmed appointments of Olatilewa Folami – Director-General of Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership (OYSIPA); Elias Adeojo- Chairman of Water Corporation of Oyo State and Olufemi Awakan- Chairman, of Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue.
Others appointments made by the governor are Dr Debo Akande as Executive Adviser, Agribusiness, International Cooperation and Development & Director-General, Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA).
The governor urged the new appointees to see their appointments as a further call to service.
