Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reappointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), marking his return to the position after stepping down earlier this year to pursue a political ambition, SavannahNewnow Reports.
The reappointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Dr. Fasoranti had resigned from the office on March 30, 2026, to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
According to the statement, the governor expressed confidence in Dr. Fasoranti’s ability to contribute meaningfully to the administration, citing his extensive experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the reappointed SSG and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity and unwavering commitment to the OUR EASE agenda of the administration.
