Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers state, has presented the N800 billion Appropriation Bill for 2024 to the House of Assembly, which is now meeting in Government House.
The bill was reportedly given to a group of four parliamentarians led by their speaker, Edison Ehie, while the Assembly structure was being demolished.
Before the demolition, Ehie and his colleagues sat at the complex and declared the governor’s wish to shift the sitting to a more convenient location.
The governor reportedly allocated a space in Government House for their sitting pending the renovation of the House. Platinum
