A former lawmaker and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Yele Omogunwa has again defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Yele Omogunwa representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the 8th Assembly, returned to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to him, he joined the APC with his numerous supporters, saying he returned to the party to give support to the Bola Tinubu government.
The All Progressives Congress state chairman, Engr Adetimehin and the incumbent Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim were on ground to welcome him to the party.
All six party local government chairmen, all ten wards chairmen in the local government, woman leader of APC in the state were also on ground to welcome Senator Yele Omogunwa.
