Former Head of Civil Service of the Government of the Federation, Malam Adamu Fika, is dead.
He joined his ancestors at 90.
According to the family source, Adamu Fika was in London hospital to treat an undisclosed ailment.
His funeral prayers would take place at the Sultan Bello Mosque Kaduna on Wednesday by 4pm.
Fika was at a time Pro-chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Equally, he was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF).
He was a renowned and seasoned Educationist and Administrator. A native of Fika, Yobe State.
He was a permanent secretary at various federal ministries that include Internal Affairs, Commerce, and Communications.
