Fire on Sunday gutted parts of operational building of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Sokoto network centre.
The fire outbreak, which lasted for more hours, was put off by the combined efforts of staff and intervention of fire fighters.
This was confirmed in a statement signed by the Sokoto State Director of fire Service, on Sunday in Sokoto.
In the statement, it was reliably gathered that the studio, equipment and other sensitive operational areas was affected.
“Engineers suspect that the fire may have been as a result of high electricity voltage.
” The OB Van, equipment and office furniture have also been saved from the inferno, ” a post shared on the NTA X handle said.
