President Bola Tinubu has cancelled all ceremonies scheduled to mark his first year in office, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
This was made known by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, at a press conference in Abuja.
Senator Akume stressed that the administration under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu resolved to maintain a low key in marking the anniversary.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the government opted to allow ministers to present their achievements in office rather than roll out the carpet for any ceremony.
