Nyesom Wike, has announced the receipt of N2 billion from the Federal Government as palliative for the fuel subsidy removal.
Wike, is the newly inaugurated Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He made the ministry intention known to the public while speaking after a meeting with contractors at his office on Monday.
He said that the N2 billion palliative will be used to solve transportation challenges in the city.
The former governor also made known that the federal government is looking to increase funding for projects in FCT.
He said the FCT Administration will also consider its internally generated revenue.
Wike warned contractors handling projects in Abuja that there would be no room for excuses from anyone.
