EPL: FA lift Arsenal’s Lewis-Skelly suspension

The Football Association has lifted Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly’s three-match suspension following his contentious red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 25, 2025, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.

The FA has announced that an independent Regulatory Commission has upheld Arsenal’s appeal against Myles Lewis-Skelly’s red card, deeming his dismissal wrongful and clearing him of any wrongdoing.

Arsenal have been handed a reprieve after Lewis-Skelly’s suspension was overturned, making him available for immediate selection in crucial upcoming fixtures.

It read, “The Football Association have released the following statement:

“An independent Regulatory Commission has upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Myles Lewis-Skelly and removed his three-match suspension.

“The Arsenal player was sent off for serious foul play during their Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, January 25, 2025.”
