Atiku Abubakar Isah, the factional leader of the National Association of Nigerian Students, is currently being held by the Department of State Services due to allegations that he accepted a N100 million bribe from Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, to support the administration’s agenda, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Isah also alleged that Seyi Tinubu’s faction within NANS orchestrated an assault against him, specifically accusing Ladoja Olusola, the rival factional president backed by Seyi Tinubu, of kicking him in the face during the incident.
Isah has been detained by the DSS since last Tuesday, following his declaration as president at an inauguration ceremony disrupted by government-backed thugs, and was reportedly forced to retract his allegations against Seyi Tinubu.
Sources close to SaharaReporters claim that Isah is being detained at the DSS hospital in Abuja, purportedly for medical treatment, but insiders allege that he is actually being blackmailed and coerced into retracting his statements.
