Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, the Chief of Army Staff, is on a one-day official visit to Gusau, the capital of Zamfara state, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
During his visit, he will meet with the Theatre Command of Operation Fansan Yamma, led by Major General Oluyinka Soyele.
The COAS will also visit the 1 Brigade Headquarters Gusau and the Garrison Contonment, where he will address the troops. Zamfara state has been plagued by insecurity due to the activities of armed terrorists for over a decade.
