President Bola Tinubu is set to meet with the Lagos State House of Assembly at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with Speaker Mudashiru Obasa arriving at 2:50 pm, following the earlier arrival of his colleagues in two coaster buses.
The meeting may be linked to the recent leadership crisis in the State House of Assembly, which saw the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Obasa, impeached by some colleagues before being reinstated following the intervention of political leaders, particularly the Governing Advisory Council, GAC.
The bad blood resulting from his impeachment still lingers, even after the Speaker’s reinstatement.
