The Supreme Court has delivered its final judgment, confirming Senator Monday Okpebholo as the rightful Governor of Edo State, thereby ending all legal disputes surrounding the 2024 governorship election.
In a statement issued shortly after the judgment, Governor Okpebholo described the verdict as a “solemn reaffirmation of the sacred mandate freely given by the people of Edo State.” He called for renewed unity, inclusiveness, and a collective push toward accelerated development across the state.
