The House of Representatives began reviewing the Finance Committee’s report on four tax reform bills submitted to the National Assembly by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
On Tuesday, the Committee’s report was presented to the House by Chairman James Abiodun Faleke (APC, Lagos), followed by a meeting between the committee and House leadership before consideration.
The Nation reports that the House suspended all convention items on its order paper to facilitate deliberation and consideration of the bills.
The Nation also notes that bulky copies of the report were brought into the Chamber in large sacks.
The four bills were presented to the House for consideration by Faleke, who urged members to approve all the recommendations contained therein.
