A 28-year-old okada rider Dada Jatto has been reportedly murdered by some hoodlums who took away his motorcycle in Akoko area of Ondo state.
The ugly incident occurred in Iyani-Akoko area of the state.
The victim was reported missing for three days by his relatives.
Upon searching for him, his mutilated body and damaged phone was discovered somewhere in the bush without his motor bike very close to Arigidi-Akoko town along Okeagbe road.
In a similar development, a northern bike rider, yet to be identified, was said to have been killed and his motorcycle snatched in a similar fashion in Ikare-Akoko.
Confirming one of the incidents, Police Public Relations Officer, Odunlami Funmilayo said the police were on top of the situation and in search of the assailants, urging citizens to always report when they notice strange faces or people with criminal intentions in their communities.
