Nigerian music star Asake, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, and his ailing father, Fatai Odunsi, have resolved their public feud.
Odunsi, who has been battling an illness, had previously claimed that Asake deserted him after achieving fame, but in a recent video shared by Mrlilgaga, he revealed that they have put their differences aside, with Odunsi expressing pride in Asake and blessing him in Yoruba.
“His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting,” he said.
Odunsi revealed that Asake has made plans to purchase a new house for him and that real estate agents are already searching for a suitable property.
“Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” he added.
Odunsi revealed that Asake has committed to taking full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility on the child,” he stated.
The elderly man also stated that he had a hospital visit scheduled for the next day, as Asake had agreed to cover his expenses.
