The funeral rites for late Comrade Emmanuel Abiodatelyn Owonola, a former Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Council, Ondo Axis, and Vice Chairman of Ikale North LCDA, will take place this week.
Owonola recently passed away, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and service to his community and fellow students.
The funeral will start with a Candlelight procession on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 5 pm in Igbotako.
A motorcade will depart General Hospital, Ondo at 8 am the following day, heading to Igbotako, where a funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s Anglicalam Church at 10 am.
Interment will immediately follow the service. Another Candlelight procession will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 4 pm, starting from Fasoranti Park and ending at the NUJ Press Centre, Alagbaka, Akure.
This will be followed by a Night of Tributes at the NUJ Hall, where friends and colleagues will gather to reflect on Owonola’s impact.
