Reigning Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray, are reportedly closing in on the signing of Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman from Italian Serie A side Atalanta.
According to sources familiar with the negotiations, representatives of the Nigerian international have reached an advanced understanding with the Istanbul giants, setting the stage for a possible January transfer.
The 27-year-old forward, who remains under contract with Atalanta until 2027, is said to be seeking a new challenge after two impressive seasons in Italy, where he established himself as one of the club’s standout performers.
Should the move materialize, Lookman will reunite with his international teammate Victor Osimhen, who is also tipped to finalize a high-profile switch to Galatasaray in the same transfer window.
