Popular Canada-based activist and political commentator, Jimi Adekanle, popularly known as JAF, has publicly declared the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as his political leader.
Adekanle made the declaration while commending the minister’s style of leadership and his contributions to the lives of people across Ondo State and beyond.
According to JAF, leadership should not be determined by age or seniority alone, but by the ability to positively impact humanity and show compassion toward the people.
Speaking on Tunji-Ojo’s growing influence, the activist described the minister as a compassionate and people-oriented leader whose interventions and support for ordinary citizens have continued to earn him admiration among the younger generation.
“Leadership is not about age. It is about compassion, capacity and the willingness to touch lives positively,” Adekanle stated.
He further noted that Tunji-Ojo’s commitment to humanitarian causes and governance has distinguished him as one of the most influential political figures from Ondo State in recent times.
The Canada-based activist also praised the minister for maintaining close relationships with grassroots supporters and for allegedly using his office to create opportunities for many young people.
Political observers believe Adekanle’s endorsement may further strengthen Tunji-Ojo’s growing political profile, especially among youths and members of the progressive political movement within the state.
Tunji-Ojo, who currently serves as Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, has continued to attract commendations from supporters over his style of administration and public engagement.
