The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of Dr. Dagogo S.A. Wokoma as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Barrister Sunny Ewule as the Chief of Staff (CoS), SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
According to an official statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onwuka Nzeshi, the appointments take immediate effect.
The newly appointed officials are scheduled to be sworn in at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
The ceremony will be held at the Executive Council (Exco) Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The statement noted that the appointments form part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and enhance administrative efficiency in the state.
