Prince Olujimi Adekanle, a Nigerian Canadian based activist, has commended what he described as a noticeable and positive shift in Nigeria’s security architecture since the appointment of General Christopher Musa as the Minister of Defence, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
Speaking in a statement, Adekanle noted that the nation’s security framework appears more coordinated, proactive and strategically focused under General Musa’s leadership.
According to him, recent developments suggest improved synergy among the armed forces and security agencies, resulting in a more responsive approach to emerging security threats across the country.
“Anyone who is observant will agree that there has been a positive change in our security architecture since General Musa assumed office as Defence Minister,” Adekanle said.
He stressed the security issues in the country is now well coordinated under the supervision of General Musa
“There is clearer direction, stronger coordination, and renewed confidence in the way security matters are being handled.”
Adekanle further praised General Musa’s military background and experience, describing them as critical assets in addressing Nigeria’s complex security challenges.
He expressed optimism that sustained professionalism, intelligence-driven operations, and inter-agency collaboration would further strengthen national security.
He also urged Nigerians to support ongoing reforms within the defence sector, stressing that security is a collective responsibility that requires cooperation between government institutions and citizens.
