Laila Charani, one of the wives of billionaire businessman and senator, Ned Nwoko, has publicly accused her co-wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drugs and being a source of crisis in their polygamous household, SAVANNAH NEWSNOW REPORTS.
In a heated post shared via Instagram, the Moroccan-born Laila refuted claims that she ever received financial support from Regina, stressing that she is satisfied with what her husband provides.
“How dare you say you ever gave me money? For what exactly? I am very content with what my husband provides for our family. Let’s show Nigerians our bank accounts to prove who sends money to whom,” Laila wrote.
She further alleged that Regina’s ongoing disagreement with Senator Nwoko is tied to his attempts to make her quit drugs and alcohol.
“You know my husband completely detests alcohol, drugs, and smoking. The only reason you are fighting him is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” she added.
Laila went on to accuse Regina of being a negative influence within the household, claiming the actress introduced her to drugs about six years ago and has since influenced domestic staff and family members.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this family, giving drugs to nannies, workers, and even your younger sister, Destiny,” Laila alleged.
According to her, Senator Nwoko’s intervention helped her overcome addiction, and she vowed never to allow her daughters be around Regina without supervision.
“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately, continue your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this,” she warned.
As of press time, Regina Daniels has not issued any public response to the allegations
