Aiyedatiwa Makes Fresh Appointments of Advisers, Aides and Law Commission Members

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved a new round of appointments into key positions in his administration. The appointments include Special Advisers, a Director-General, Senior Special Assistants, a Special Assistant, and members of the Ondo State Law Commission.

In the list released on Saturday, November 8, 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the new appointees are expected to bring their experience and expertise to bear in advancing the OUR EASE agenda of the Aiyedatiwa administration.

Special Advisers

The newly appointed Special Advisers include:

1. Hon. Olugbenga Omole – Transport

2. Comrade Gani Mohammed – Special Duties and Strategy

3. Allen Sowore – Communication and Strategy

4. Dr. Summy Smart Francis – Entrepreneurship and Innovation

5. Dr. Tunji Rhema – Environment

6. Mrs. Kikelomo Ikuomola – Public Affairs and Inter-Governmental Relations

7. Engr. Wale Aladenusi – Marine and Blue Economy

8. Hon. Kolawole Babatunde – Legislative and Party Affairs

9. Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa – Local Government Affairs

Engr. Razaq Obe – Public Procurement and Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU)

The Governor also named 20 Senior Special Assistants covering various portfolios, including media, education, community engagement, religion, mobilisation, and legal services.

Governor Aiyedatiwa urged all the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by working diligently to actualize his administration’s development goals for the state.
