Senator Ndume Accuses Presidential Aides of Extortion Before Access to President Tinubu

Senator Ali Ndume has alleged that some presidential aides are demanding money from individuals seeking to meet with President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking in an interview with Arise News, the lawmaker claimed that access to the President has been monetized by certain officials within the Presidency, making it difficult for people including lawmakers to have direct engagement with him.

Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District, described the development as “unacceptable,” stressing that it undermines transparency and the trust Nigerians have in the Tinubu administration.
