Super Eagles skipper William Troost-Ekong has reassured fans that Nigeria’s qualification hopes for the 2026 FIFA World Cup remain on track after their crucial 2-1 win over Lesotho.

The captain’s penalty opened the scoring before Akor Adams sealed the victory in the 80th minute.

Troost-Ekong stated that the team remains focused on securing qualification, sending a clear message to Group C rivals South Africa and Benin Republic ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
