APC Confirms Enugu Governor Peter Mbah’s Planned Defection Next Week
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed that the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, is set to officially defect to the ruling party next week.
The disclosure was made on Friday during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly inaugurated Enugu State Executive Committee of the APC, led by former state chairman, Ben Nwoye, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, alongside the Deputy National Chairman, Emma Enukwu, revealed that significant efforts have been made to facilitate Governor Mbah’s move into the party.
Confirming the development, the new state chairman, Ben Nwoye, stated that the governor would join the APC alongside a large number of his appointees and supporters.
