Prophet Odumeje Claims His Corpse Will Never Be Found After Death

Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has sparked fresh reactions with a bold revelation about his life and ministry.

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, told his congregation during a recent service that his earthly journey is nearing its end and that, when he dies, no one will ever see his body.

“I am the strongest spiritual man in the world after the general, Prophet T.B. Joshua. We are only two. One has completed his assignment and returned home. Remaining is the Lion himself—the dead man. I don’t have much time to stay here, and when I go, nobody will see my corpse,” he said.

Odumeje explained that his calling was never about longevity but about fulfilling a divine mission to prove the reality of Jesus Christ.

“Our mission is to clear people’s doubt about Jesus Christ. Our mission is one God and one power, and that man is Jesus Christ,” he added.

The Onitsha-based preacher has long courted both admiration and criticism for his flamboyant style of deliverance, theatrical demonstrations on the pulpit, and unconventional prophecies. His unique self-descriptions—“liquid metal,” “the war,” and “indaboski bahose”—have become catchphrases among his followers and online audiences, cementing his image as one of Nigeria’s most controversial clerics.
