Tinubu heads to Kano Today

President Bola Tinubu will visit Kano today to offer condolences to the state’s people, government, and the family of the late Aminu Dantata, a renowned businessman, statesman, and philanthropist.

This was confirmed in a statement released Thursday by Sunusi Bature, spokesperson to the Governor of Kano State.

He described the visit as “a show of national unity and respect for the people of Kano and the legacy of the late industrialist.”

Governor Abba Yusuf has called on Kano residents to warmly and peacefully welcome the president, in line with the state’s tradition of hospitality and respect for leadership.

The condolence visit comes after the passing of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a renowned philanthropist, public servant, and investor whose contributions have had a profound and lasting impact on numerous lives in Nigeria.

Authorities have made the necessary security and logistical arrangements to facilitate a smooth and dignified presidential visit.
